Performs product inspection audits and insures that quality standards are conformed-to per company and customer criteria. The basic function is to support Production by ensuring received materials and manufactured and assembled components meet quality specifications and to facilitate the disposition and analysis of daily rejects

• Provides general QA department support
• Inspects all questionable raw materials before the raw materials enter the production process
• Determines whether questionable raw material falls within standards and specifications or if material requires discarding
• Documents non-conforming materials and prepares data and photographs
• Works with internal and external customers
• Audits all WIP and finished goods
• Assists in the ongoing training effort to build quality into the manufacturing process
• Sets example for peers in quality and safety
• Assists in creating visual aids to help eliminate questions regarding product packaging or foam qualities
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures
• Assists in meeting productivity standards by completing work quickly and accurately
• Other duties, as assigned

• A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training in quality control or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• JDE experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills required
