Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing (non-municipal) issues.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Assist with facility improvement projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
