Position Summary
The Retail Sales Specialist (RSS) will be responsible for supporting established Specialty Retail accounts within an outlined territory. This position is primarily responsible for customer relationship building, product training, new store setups and working closely with the Strategic Account Manager to analyze floor competitiveness in order to identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have some combination of brand or retail experience, as well as, sales or customer success experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Provide consistent support of the customer’s sales force and establish yourself, and FXI, as a primary partner/resource
  • Coordinate and conduct product training presentations
  • Track and report on sales performance
  • Work closely with the Strategic Account Manager to identify opportunities that align with FXI’s growth strategy
  • Partner with FXI’s Customer Service to support customer’s warranty claims
  • Maintain product appearance and positioning within retail floors
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Be a role model for the company's mission, vision and values

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required or equivalent experience 
  • Experience within the speciality furniture retail industry
  • Self-starter and goal-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible scheduling, including some holiday weekends
  • Ability to travel up to 75% with occasional overnights

 

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $45,000-$55,000
  • Uncapped Commission
  • Company Car
