Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Scheduling:

    • Plan and schedule production work areas, considering daily capacity, material availability, ship dates, and efficiency.
    • Manage the flow of job orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to production schedules.
    • Reschedule and prioritize current work when necessary to meet evolving demands.
  • Coordination of Manufacturing Activities:

    • Coordinate manufacturing activities, addressing material shortages, overtime requirements, staffing needs, and production priorities.
    • Resolve operational challenges to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Communication:

    • Maintain frequent communication with personnel at all levels, including Production, Sales, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and Management.
    • Collaborate effectively to address production-related concerns and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing-related roles, inventory control, or production planning.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in planning and execution.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Inventory Control: Basic knowledge of inventory control preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills when interacting with personnel at various organizational levels.
