Position Summary: The Senior Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and payroll processing. The Payroll Coordinator will work closely with our HR team and employees to provide assistance with paycheck issues and questions. Highly organized, detail-oriented this role will assist the Payroll Manager with daily projects and tasks related to payroll and HR/Payroll maintenance. This role is located at our Radnor, PA headquarters and will be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. 

Responsibilities

  • Full Cycle Payroll preparation and processing.
  • Responsible for processing the company’s weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for 2000 employees.
  • Maintain HR systems with payroll and employee changes, preferably having experience with ADP products.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding locating forms, resetting password,
    and escalate questions/issue to HR staff as needed.
  • Enter new employee information and process terminations into ADP. 
  • Audits associate time records and maintain payroll records to ensure employees are paid timely and accurately.
  • ADP Wage Garnishment Processing Service, Verifications of Employment and Unemployment Claims.
  • Process payroll through the ADP system and ensure accurate and timely running of the union/non-union payroll.
  • Ensure attention to detail and accuracy of payroll records, excellent problem solving/judgment skills for various employee inquiries and issues.
  • Inputs changes, which may include changes to employees or employee statuses, exemptions or withholdings, or bank information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high volume payroll processing environment; must have experience with ADP Workforce Manager and ADP Workforce Now or Other ADP systems.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal guidance.
  • Associate degree in related field preferred, High School Diploma required.
  • Knowledge of federal/state wage and hour laws, including garnishments, tax levies, etc. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
